Management of Change
Managing change within an organization can be the most difficult, and the most crucial, component of implementing any program. Integritas Solutions recognizes the high degree of risk of not addressing the "people" component. Integritas believes that any change initiative should be just as focused on leading the people, as to managing the process.
Many of the projects that Integritas manage for customers become programs within their organizations. Therefore, for any program to be successful a number of recommended steps need to take place. These steps include:
- Identifying the urgency, the reason for change;
- Defining the vision and strategy for the change;
- Assembling the guiding coalition or team to facilitate the change;
- Communicating the vision and plan to keep the organization informed and motivated; and
- Identifying and consolidating the wins to gain continued momentum and anchor the changes within the culture.
Through out the initiative active communication is imperative to keep the organization informed and motivated - the three most important things are communication, communication, and communication.
